This is our family's adorable puppy, Sprocket. Isn't he cute? :) These photos have been sitting on my computer since Christmas and Spring.

Amethyst and Faylisa
Sarah Mosher asked me to assist on a fairytale shoot with mother/daughter models. We made the costumes the night before, then teamed up with Monica Michelle and our models at Point Defiance park. I was able to snap some detail shots and candids. I had so much fun, and was completely exhausted afterwards.
This is the first mother/daughter couple, Amethyst and Faylisa.

Eli, One Years Old

Eli is turning one! Of course, we had to do a cake smashing at his birthday party.
These are the photos that ensued from the fun.

Megan's New Car
Megan asked me to take photos of her and her new car, "Elle" today! Thankfully the Seattle rainy weather gave us a 45 minute break of "clear sky" so we could shoot.

Skylann
This is Skylann, one of my sister's friends. He contacted me to help photograph a cover for his senior project CD.
We had a very short time together and thankfully just as we finished, it started raining.
I edited these all very differently so that Skylann could choose the feel of what he wanted to use for his CD cover photo. I had a lot of fun with it.
We walked around my neighborhood to get these photos.

Shooting in RAW
This year, I started shooting in RAW because I heard of its magical powers.
Let me tell you, it truly is magical!
I bought a larger memory card for my senior portrait sessions to handle the huge file size of each photo and am loving the results.
This is from my shoot today with Chase (more photos to come).
I make plenty of mistakes when it comes to exposure, and thankfully shooting in RAW keeps so much light information to save my photos!

Molly
This is my sister, Molly! She's a senior this year at Roosevelt High School--hard to believe. She's grown up into a gorgeous young lady, and I both mean it and take it as a compliment since people ask us if we're twins all the time.
:)
Molly is a race car driver, setting her sights on NASCAR. Here's her website to check her out:
These were also taken at the Washington Arboretum.

Everyone, Meet Eli
My boyfriend's brother and sister-in-law just had the first baby of the family on August 6th, 2012 and I was fortunate enough to become the official family photographer!
Unfortunately, Eli did not cooperate well; and when he did it was in very short spurts. Now that it's been over a month, Jessica and Brian have got a system and figured out why Eli was so unhappy all the time... He just wanted more food!
Eli in these photos is 1.5 weeks. Now that he's almost two months, he's starting to wear 6 month clothing. He's going to be a big boy!
This was my very first time photographing an infant (or any child, really), and I enjoyed it very much.
Congratulations to the happy couple--and family!
